We are officially booked!
I’m So Glad You’re Here.

Welcome Guide

Thank you for your trust and for choosing me to be part of your wedding experience. I’m really looking forward to creating something MAGICAL together.

My goal is for you to feel supported, comfortable, and confident every step of the way. I’ll guide you through the process, take care of the details, answer questions as they come up so nothing feels overwhelming and you can stay present and enjoy the experience.

Inside this welcome guide, you’ll find everything you need to feel informed, supported, and relaxed as we move forward together, including:

How we’ll work together, timeline guidance, vendor list, small but important tips, what I’ll need from you, what you don’t need to worry about, communication expectations, what happens after the wedding day, optional add-ons.

This guide is here to answer common questions, set clear expectations, and give you peace of mind so you can focus on enjoying this season.

The Approach

This experience is built around care, intention, and trust. From our first email exchange to the final gallery delivery, my goal is for you to feel heard, guided, and taken care of every step of the way. I approach each wedding with thoughtful preparation, an open eye, and the flexibility to let the day unfold naturally so what you receive feels honest, timeless, and truly yours.

How We’ll Work Together

Before the Wedding Day

This is where everything starts to feel lighter.

Before the wedding, my role is to make sure you feel clear, supported, and not alone in the process. I’m available, responsive, and thoughtful about details, especially the ones that tend to cause stress if they’re overlooked.

I help you think through timing, light, and locations, and I review your timeline from a photographer’s perspective so nothing feels rushed or overwhelming. I’ll ask questions early, offer guidance where needed, and help you focus on what actually matters to you, not just what’s expected.

The goal is for you to arrive at your wedding day feeling calm, prepared, and excited, not worried about logistics.

How I Show Up & What You Can Expect

On your wedding day, I show up calm, prepared, and fully present. I take care of the flow so you don’t have to think about timing, logistics, or what’s coming next.

I’ll guide you when direction is helpful, especially during portraits, so nothing feels awkward or forced. When real moments are unfolding, I step back and let them happen naturally.

If being in front of the camera feels uncomfortable, that’s completely normal. You don’t need to know how to pose or perform. I use simple movement and gentle guidance to help you relax, and most couples end up forgetting the camera is even there.

Above all, my focus is on how you feel throughout the day. When you feel supported, at ease, and present, everything else follows and the photos reflect that naturally.

Timeline Guidance

This isn’t a planner document, just gentle guardrails to help the day flow naturally.

First Look vs. Traditional
There’s no right or wrong here. I’ll walk you through the pros and cons of both so you can choose what fits your priorities, whether that’s more time together, a calmer day, or a more traditional reveal.

Best Time for Portraits
Portrait timing is all about light and energy. I’ll help you choose a window that feels unhurried and flattering, without pulling you away from the moments that matter.

Sunset / Golden Hour
Golden hour is beautiful, but it isn’t guaranteed and that’s okay. I plan for it thoughtfully when it makes sense and make sure your gallery still feels complete and beautiful regardless of weather or timing.

Built-In Flexibility
I always recommend a little breathing room in the timeline. Not rigid buffer time, just enough space so the day doesn’t feel rushed and you can actually enjoy it.

My approach is supportive and experience-based, never controlling. The goal is a day that flows naturally and feels good from start to finish.

What I’ll Need From You

To keep everything running smoothly and avoid any last-minute stress, there are just a few things I’ll need from you ahead of the wedding day.

Final Timeline
Once your timeline is finalized, please send it my way. This helps me plan coverage thoughtfully and be fully prepared for the flow of the day.

Family Photo List
A list of must-have family groupings is incredibly helpful. Keeping it simple allows us to move efficiently and keeps this part of the day relaxed.

Photo Priorities
If there are 3–5 moments, people, or details that matter most to you, let me know. This helps me photograph the day in a way that feels personal and intentional. If nothing specific comes to mind, no worries at all, I give the same care and attention to every part of the day.

Planner Contact (if applicable)
If you’re working with a planner or coordinator, sharing their contact information allows for easy communication and a smoother experience for everyone.

That’s it. A short checklist so the day can unfold calmly and without confusion.

What You Don’t Need to Worry About

You don’t need to know how to pose. I’ll guide you in a natural way that never feels awkward.

You don’t need to worry about where to stand or what to do next. I’ll gently direct things as we go so it all feels easy, just make sure to add your own personality.

You don’t need to think about what to do with your hands, how to move, or how to look “natural.” I’ll help you in a way that feels comfortable and true to you.

Most importantly, you don’t need to perform for the camera. Just be present with each other, I’ll take care of the rest.

Communication Expectations

The best way to reach me is by email. That keeps everything organized and easy to reference.

I typically respond within 1–3 business days. During busy weekends, responses may be slower, but I’ll always get back to you as soon as I can.

About a month before your wedding, I’ll send a final questionnaire to help us gather all remaining details and build the timeline, things like starting time, getting-ready locations, and all the final details. If you are creating the timeline with a wedding planner, please always consult with me before you finalize it.

I’ll also share a few helpful resources along the way to help you feel confident and prepared for your wedding day.

And of course, if something comes up or you need anything at all, you’re always welcome to reach out. I’m here for you.

Clear communication helps everything feel smooth and stress-free, and I’m here to make sure you feel supported throughout the process.

After the Wedding: What Happens Next:

After your wedding day, I carefully curate and edit your images with the same care and attention I bring to the day itself.

You can expect a sneak peek within 1–7 days of your wedding.
Your full gallery will be delivered within 6–12 weeks.

Your images will be delivered through a private online gallery where you can easily view, download, and share your photos with family and friends. You’ll have full personal use and printing rights. Whoever has the link can also view and download the photos. If you prefer limited download access, please communicate this with me in advance.

I’ll be in touch once your gallery is ready. When I share your sneak peek, that’s the perfect time to let me know if you have any comments or feedback, this helps ensure everything feels aligned before the final gallery is delivered.

Online galleries remain available for 3 months after delivery. Please make sure to download ALL photos to your preferred devices, ideally two hard drives and one online/cloud backup. Gallery re-uploads after expiration will incur an additional fee.

Optional Add-Ons

The following options are available if you’d like to expand your coverage or experience:

  • Engagement session

  • Second shooter

  • Rehearsal dinner coverage

  • Pre-wedding or post-wedding sessions (bridal portraits, couple portraits, or “trash the dress”)

  • Printed albums (click HERE for more details)

Add-ons can be added at any time before or after the wedding.

Socials & Sharing

I love sharing glimpses of the weddings I photograph. You can expect to see images from your day shared on my Instagram stories, and possibly on my feed and website as well. I only feature a small selection of weddings on my feed and website, but all weddings are always celebrated through stories. For this reason, I’d love to have your Instagram handle at some point if I don’t already.
If you’d prefer me to delay posting, keep things private, or have any limitations around sharing, please let me know in advance so I can fully respect that.

If you share your photos online, please feel free to give proper credit to all the vendors involved. We all work closely together to bring the wedding to life, and acknowledging each creative is a lovely way to support the entire team behind your day.
